alright so I read things about people not wanting a Black Panther movie due to racism or some stupid shit like that.
Well here is my opinion.
Get the mother fuck over it. Afraid to make a Black Panther movie because T’CHalla represents a super advanced African civilization. Wakanda is known for NEVER being conquered in all of its existence and for never attacking anyone though they clearly have the technology to do so very successfully. But I did not see a problem with portraying their intense African culture in the cartoon. A lot of what I heard between the Black Man and the White Mans arguments in the cartoon were spot on. Perhaps if the West were more spiritually advanced then we would make it a lot farther in our research for whatever the fuck we research, instead our troops fight for oil and power, at least that’s what a great deal of your own people think of you which is just one of many points Wakanda government tries to make in the cartoon.
This is my just opinion, but I believe that “it would be to hard to bring in another world like Wakanda into the studio” is complete BS. T’Challa has proved Stark’s tech to be “Old fashioned”. On top of that they literally brought in different worlds with a variety of characters such as Asgardians, Frost Giants, Chitauri, Silver Surfer, and Galactus. I am not saying they are racist, I’m saying that they are likely afraid of the racial critics who will come along after a Movie such as Black Panther happens. Sure there was Blade the black vampire hunter, but he had not a care in the world what his skin colour was, all he saw in himself was a vampire, black or white he didn’t care the least.
